Yes. Spouses of sailors belonging to the 01/96 Batch of the Indian Navy and Indian Coast Guard are recognized as an approved category of membership.
Yes. Widows of sailors belonging to the 01/96 Batch are included among the approved categories of members.
An eligible 01/96 Batch sailor who subsequently attained officer rank after retirement may become a member, subject to approval by the Executive Committee.
An eligible person must apply in the prescribed form. The General Secretary places the application before the Executive Committee for approval. Membership commences after approval and entry of the applicant’s name in the Membership Register.
Yes. A member may resign by giving written notice to the General Secretary.
Yes. Membership may cease because of resignation, death, disqualification, proven misconduct or violation of the Rules. The concerned member must be given reasonable notice and an opportunity to be heard.

The Welfare Fund may be generated through voluntary member contributions, donations, approved crowdfunding, reunions and events, lawful fundraising activities, grants or other lawful sources approved by the Association.
No. The Association shall not compel a member to make a voluntary contribution. Non-payment of such a contribution does not result in disqualification from membership.
Welfare assistance may ordinarily be considered for the demise of a batch mate, critical or life-threatening illness including cancer, higher education of eligible wards in India, marriage assistance for one son or daughter, and other genuine hardships or emergencies approved by the Executive Committee.
No. Welfare assistance is not an automatic or vested right. It is subject to verification, availability of funds, prescribed rules and limits, and approval by the competent authority.
The member submits the prescribed application with supporting documents. The Welfare Screening Committee examines and verifies the request and makes a recommendation to the Executive Committee or another competent authority authorized by it.
